Well, we made it through November without a hitch. Jeff and I had good birthdays, cake and all. We spent Thanksgiving with the folks and brought all the pie home with us. Makenzie had dinner with us and then went with Jo to his grandparents house. Hopefully the kids and I, minus Beau, can get the Christmas decorations up. I just can't believe its almost the end of another year. :( Time goes so fast these days.

Grandma and the kids: Kalen, Beau, Morgan, Kolby, Brett, Grandma, Mak & Kyle

Fall has fallen

Is is the end of the first 9 weeks already??? I hope parent-teacher conference is a pleasant experience this year. Holy cow, where have I been? One day the leaves were yellow and the next there were on the ground. I did manage to take a picture tho..
Fall is my favorite time of year...cold and sweaters in the morning, pumpkins on doorsteps, nature changing colors, hs football playoffs, just my kind of things. :)
Karen & I were able to hang out with mom for her birthday last night. Went to Johnny Carinos for dinner....yummy firesticks. Then shopping of course. Her birthday was a good one.
I need to get busy and clean the house. I liked Brooke's cleaning comments. Whew, I couldn't have done it. Brett is hanging out with Conner. Morgan and Ivey are running around and Beau is waiting to talk to Kyle about work. I have such an exciting life.

soccer

Well the 2009 soccer season has officially ended. I have mixed emotions about it. It was fun to watch all 3 of the kids play, the running around to practices is tourture. Cross country is over too, Morgan did great for her first year, 3 medals. Mr. & Mrs. Cole are great coaches, always encouraging the kids to do their best. That's how a coach should be. Beau is working the next 3 weekends at the HAUNTED MANSION....when that is done we will have peace at home again. Although it looks like Declo has a chance at State again this year!! GO HORNETS!!! Makenzie finished her CNA class and passed with flying colors! I am so proud of her. She just has to sign up to do the tests and then she is totally done. The leaves are changing, it is so pretty. I will have to go take pics tomorrow before they all fall off. And a happy birthday to my Mom!!!

BRACES

Brace face, metal mouth, railroad tracks. Whatever you call them, Morgan has them. She got the upper braces on Wednesday and will get the bottom ones November 11th. She has been a pretty good sport about it, only complaining a little. She did smile for a picture, finally, had to bribe her. I think the hardest part for her will be not eating popcorn. And she loves her cheesy popcorn with a movie. She chose blue and green bands for this time. I wish we would have had choices like that. But, no, we just had the plain, boring clear ones.

It is sooooo cold. Fall definitely came with a roar. Morgan had her last run tonight in Gooding. Jeff went and watched her. Don't know the results yet, they went to dinner with Clint & Mike. Waiting patiently.....One more Saturday of Kiwanas soccer also, woohoo! The nine weeks ends on the 16th. I am hoping for a really good parent-teacher conference, especially with Beau's teachers. I am so grateful for Jeff and the kids. I am truly blessed. I am having a great time at Mountain View subbing. The kids are so fun. And I have met some really nice people at the school. Another evening of dishes and laundry await me, so off I go! :)

waiting for Beau

Here we are again, waiting for Beau to get home from soccer. Last game of the season, loss to Ketchum. BOO HISS. So now we play in Wendell on Saturday. One of us will have to go with him and the other with Morgan and Brett to their soccer. I do have pictures of them all playing, just haven't got them posted yet. Its hard to believe its almost the end of the first 9 weeks of school. Soon cross country and soccer will be over and we will not have quite the gas bill we do now. It takes a lot of money to have your kids doing things. Face it; life is expensive. I still haven't made my October calendar, oops. I wonder how I am keeping it together. Subbing the next 6 weeks will keep me on my toes. :)

woke up this lovely General Conference morning to....get ready for it....SNOW!!! Oh my goodness. and to top it all off, there is a storm warning for blowing and drifting snow from 6 p.m. tonight till noon Monday. Did I just lose 2 months? Do Rip Vanwinkle and I have more in common than I thought? Don't get me wrong, I love fall and winter, just not in the same week. :) Maybe a snow day tomorrow???

been over a year...

ok, call me lazy or disinterested, whatever you like... I haven't posted anything since LAST SEPTEMBER!!! Jamie came down tonight and showed me the basics. I will have to figure out the rest on my own. I hope I haven't offended anyone by posting their pictures on here. If I have...tough cookies for you. :)
